Bishop appoints new team vicar for Ryde

Welcoming Reverend David Morgan to Holy Cross Church, Binstead and St Peter's, Havenstreet

Within this sacred charge, Reverend Morgan will be entrusted with the specific responsibility of nurturing traditional worship across five cherished Isle of Wight churches: All Saints, St John’s, and St Michael’s in Ryde, alongside our very own Holy Cross, Binstead, and St Peter’s, Havenstreet.

Reverend David Morgan will serve as an integral part of a devoted team, which will encompass both clergy and lay individuals dedicated to this newly woven benefice. His distinct role will encompass safeguarding the cherished rituals and sacraments of worship within these historic churches, as well as expanding the horizons of their musical expression.
